Yet another hair post - SHOCK! It would appear that my unmanageable mane is still drawing me like a moth to a flame, to these lock lifting life savers. I'm a sucker for the stuff and the L'Oréal #TXT Volume Supersizing Spray has been on my radar for quite some time, thanks to many a rave review from every woman and her blog, but could it really control my hopeless hair?
"With texturising micro-powders the volume supersizing spray instantly creates bouffant back-combed volume from root to tip. Leaves the hair sensationally texturised and volumised, with an irresistible matt finish. NON-HEAVY/NON-STIFF/NON-CRUNCHY/BRUSHABLE"
The first thing I noticed was the delicious aroma; a delicate fruity scent, almost apricot-y. Nothing like many other hair sprays I've tried, not spluttering on the rogue particles making their way into my open chops was a welcome surprise. The spray nozzle disperses an ultra fine mist of the lightweight formulation, offering you an instant bouffant without crisp 'n' crunch. The main thing that attracted me to the L'Oréal #TXT Volume Supersizing Spray, was the promise of a matt finish; all too often hair spray leaves me feeling slicker than Danny Zuko' quiff! Furthermore, this baby can be used as a pre-styler; to really hold a do in place. I love spritzing it through the entirety of my hair; to offer a bit more grit and texture. As with most 'supersizing' sprays, it does require a little top up here and there; to re-inject a bit of oomph, but this really is dependant on hair type and style - my rebellious roots reject it after around 3-4 hours. If you're looking to really up the amp, pair this with Vo5' Give Me Texture Instant Oomph Powder and a bit o' teasin'.
